    February 2026 A leader from the Uganda Survivor Network referred a case of intimate partner violence to IJM, helping secure justice for Lydia. For years, Lydia endured violence in her marriage. The next morning, Lydia reported the assault to the police, and a leader within the local chapter of the Uganda Survivor Network, who knew of Lydia’s situation, referred the case to IJM for support.
