Protect at risk women and children from trafficking now
Over 1 million people have been forced to flee their homes in Ukraine following the Russian invasion (UNHCR). NGOs including IJM are warning of an “acute risk of exploitation” by human traffickers, for the many women and children fleeing the conflict.
This humanitarian crisis is increasing the vulnerability of refugees to trafficking.
IJM teams are working now on the Ukrainian border to provide urgent support to refugees and prevent trafficking. At the moment, IJM is supporting refugees with food, transport and assisting shelters with trauma informed care.
Your gift now could provide urgent support and prevent trafficking now and in the future.
Protect women and children from trafficking now
*In the event that we raise more than is needed, any funds will be used to prevent trafficking and violence as part of IJM’s wider work to stop trafficking in Eastern Europe and around the world. As a cross-national agency, we are uniquely placed on the frontline to prevent at risk women and children from trafficking. Please give now.
