    13 Years Trapped. Today, Free.
    Sokha was forced to work in a household of seven, labouring for 18-20 hours a day without pay and without rest. After over a decade of exploitation , Sokha found a way to contact her mother in Cambodia. In partnership with IJM Malaysia’s local implementation partner, Tenaganita, Sokha was brought to safety.

    The ceremony was attended by representatives from various key government agencies involved in combating trafficking, senior officers from law enforcement agencies, and non-governmental organizations, civil societies and foreign diplomatic missions.
