Featured Story
Meet Cassie, a survivor of sexual violence and a passionate advocate for an end to this crime.
Cassie was 12 when a family friend in the Philippines began abusing her. The abuse was livestreamed through a screen just like this one. Cassie suffered sexual abuse and violence for almost five years, until IJM partnered with police to bring her to safety.
Today, Cassie has a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management and speaks out internationally to stop violence against women and girls. She recently featured in the BBC documentary 'Hunting the Online Sex Predators'.
