Warrior
A music video to help end trafficking, created for IJM in partnership with singer-songwriter Roo Panes.
The Warrior film ends with freedom. But millions of people around the world are still trapped in slavery. At IJM, we know how to bring rescue – but we can only go if you send us.
Will you send rescue today?
There are 40+ million people in slavery.
Roughly 1 in 200 people in the world are trapped in slavery.
Slavery is a multibillion-dollar industry.
Human trafficking generates $150 billion annually and it is happening in every corner of the globe.
IJM has rescued thousands.
IJM has worked with law enforcement to rescue 50,000 people from slavery and oppression. We’ve seen slavery decrease by up to 86% in places where we’ve worked.
International Justice Mission is the world's largest anti slavery organisation.
Singer-songwriter Roo Panes’ visit to IJM’s work tackling sex trafficking in the Dominican Republic inspired him to dedicate his song 'Warrior' to survivors. This music video is an artistic representation of human trafficking created by director Christian Kinde. It seeks to make people aware of the brutal reality of trafficking whilst also celebrating the strength of survivors. Roo and Christian wanted to use a music video to inspire more people to join the fight until all are free.
Human trafficking happens everywhere. IJM partners with police and law enforcement in 12 countries globally to find and rescue people who are trapped in slavery or violent oppression. Our lawyers help prosecute slave-owners and traffickers so that they can’t harm anyone else and our social workers walk with survivors on the road to recovery. All of this is made possible by people like you.
Together, we can end slavery in our lifetime. We know it’s possible, but we need you to join the fight.
