Terence Fitzgerald serves as IJM’s Vice President of Program Design, Research and Evaluation. Terence is responsible for IJM’s efforts to bring data to bear on its programs. He leads a global team that provides leadership and technical guidance on the design and execution of research studies and evaluations and on the development and use of monitoring systems and plans. This array of tools produces data critical to the management of IJM’s operations and to IJM’s global thought leadership efforts.
Terence joined IJM in 2007 and has served in several data and project management positions within the Justice Operations Division. Before IJM, Terence had a career in designing and leading post-conflict programs in Angola, Afghanistan and other distressed countries through both HQ- and field-based positions in prestigious organizations such as Oxfam, Concern Worldwide and Catholic Relief Services. Terence is a graduate of University College, Cork in Ireland. Terence resides in the Washington, DC area with his wife.
