Justice United
The 2022 World Cup in Qatar has been riddled with reports of migrant workers exploited, injured or killed, working in terrible conditions to build stadiums and infrastructure in Qatar. But these issues aren’t limited to football or just one country: exploitation and slavery is happening everywhere, throughout our global supply chains and structures.
We've partnered with Tearfund and Compassion UK to take positive action with a new campaign called Justice United - and we're inviting you, and your friends to get involved.
Here's how it works
During this year’s World Cup (20 November–18 December), show that you’re game for change, raise awareness of exploitation, and raise money to help stop it through Compassion, IJM and Tearfund.
Sign up to become a Team Captain, and we’ll send you everything you need to:
- Host a PlayStation or Xbox football tournament – get a group of friends together and put your skills to the test. Host it at your church or at home.
- Host a watch party at your church – invite people to watch a match together at church.
- Donate – get your whole church involved on a Sunday service and raise money that will make a vital difference to people’s lives.
