Youthwork Magazine recently ran a series of justice related articles. The articles published are listed below. Click on the title to view the full article.

Within each article you will find links to additional resources such as powerpoint presentations, video clips, case studies and stories.

1. Defining God's Heart For Justice

To teach young people that justice is huge part of who God is and that He wants them to use them to be vessels of justice in their neighbourhoods, schools, and world.

2. Ready To Act

To teach young people that because God loves justice, He also literally hates injustice. To define what injustice is and looks like Biblically, locally and globally.

3. What About The Bad Guys?

To enable young people to apply biblical principles to justice issues; to see situations as God would have us see them: “For man sees the outward appearance, but God sees the heart.” (1 Sam 16: 7)

4. God The Rescuer

To teach young people that God sees, hears and knows the cries of the oppressed just as He sees, hears and knows us. To teach them that as a Father, He is close to His children, holding us close, holding the hurting close and rescuing them from their pain.

5. Justice For Our Neighbours

To connect young people with God’s heart for the hurting around them, instilling in them a sense of the justice of God and inspiring and encourage them to take action now in their local neighbourhoods.

6. Jesus And Justice

To introduce justice as a part of Jesus' missions, to see that He loved the oppressed while He walked the earth and to understand that He still loves the oppressed today and to help develop a Jesus-centred motivation to seek justice.

7. We Are His Answer

To discover how those in the Western world may use their strength to aid the oppressed and to encourage youth to use their individual gifts in the active pursuit of justice.

8. The Making Of A Hero

To teach young people that God does not see people as today’s world does. To show the difference between being famous and being a hero- that fame and fortune does not equal greatness. In fact, standing up for justice, having courage and living for Jesus is what defines greatness.
