David WestlakeDavid Westlake
CEO, IJM UK

David became the new CEO for IJM UK in 2016, bringing with him over twenty-four years of experience of leadership and innovation in the Christian not-for-profit sector, combined with a passion for justice. Before joining IJM, David served as the International Director for Tearfund, with a responsibility for Global Programmes, including advocacy, media, network engagement, international communications and global volunteering, as well as developing approaches to tackle sexual and gender-based violence and enhance peace-building. David also acts as a Trustee for a number of other social justice organisations, and is pursuing a Doctorate in Theology and Missiology from Durham University.

Steve WebsterSteve Webster
Chief Operating Officer, IJM UK

Steve is IJM UK's Chief Operating Officer, running the day to day operational aspects of IJM UK, and focusing on strategy development and liaising with IJM Global in Washington D.C. Prior to joining IJM, Steve had a successful 33 year career in banking. He graduated with a BA (Hons) in Economics from Durham University and successfully completed professional banking qualifications with the Institute of Financial Services. He has also completed 3 years with St Paul’s Theological Centre, School of Theology and has a passion for prayer and for justice. He is the Prayer Co-ordinator for his local Church and for a cross denominational ministry.

Sarah FeltonSarah Felton
Finance Executive, IJM UK

Sarah runs the finances of IJM UK, including the monthly management accounts and annual statutory accounts. She oversees the budget process, cash management and co-ordinates closely with our auditors, bank and other financial institutions. Sarah started work in charity finance over 20 years ago and has also worked at KPMG. She has a BA (Hons) in Business Studies and successfully completed professional accounting qualifications with the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.

Gary HaugenGary Haugen
Founder and CEO, International Justice Mission

Gary serves as CEO of International Justice Mission. Before founding IJM in 1997, Gary was a human rights lawyer for the U.S. Department of Justice, where he focused on crimes of police misconduct. In 1994, he served as the Director of the United Nations’ investigation in the aftermath of the Rwandan genocide. In this role, he led an international team of lawyers, criminal prosecutors, law enforcement officers and forensics experts to gather evidence that would eventually be used to bring the perpetrators of the genocide to justice. Gary received a B.A. in Social Studies from Harvard University and a J.D. from the University of Chicago. 

Sean LittonSean Litton
President, International Justice Mission

Sean serves as President of International Justice Mission, where he is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the organisation, as well as IJM’s strategy and structure, and the recruitment and development of the senior leadership team. Sean joined IJM in 2000 as the first Field Office Director in Manila, the Philippines, and later moved to Thailand to lead IJM’s team there. He has since served in increasingly senior leadership capacities at IJM. Prior to IJM, Sean worked as an associate at the law firm Kirkland & Ellis in Washington, DC, and served as associate pastor for youth at Christ Church in New Mexico. He received a B.S. in Business Administration from Miami University and a J.D. from the University of Notre Dame Law School.
