Freedom Partner

What is a Freedom Partner?

Freedom Partners make a monthly investment of £50 in the work of IJM. It is an investment that yields high returns: an advocate showing up, a victim set free, and perpetrators held accountable for their abuse.

Personal Investment

As a Freedom Partner, you choose where to invest your £50 monthly gift. IJM will provide personal updates on the impact of your gift based on the area that you choose to invest in.

You have 3 choices for your monthly investment:

  1. IJM Urgent Need Fund

IJM will invest this gift where it is most urgently needed.

  2. IJM Regional Fund

Invest in a specific region where IJM conducts casework: Africa, Latin America, India or Southeast Asia.

  3. IJM Casework Fund

Invest in a specific area of IJM casework: sex trafficking, slavery, sexual violence, or theft of land and property.

What will you receive?

A Framed Picture of an IJM client from your area of investment as a reminder of the difference you are making in the lives of the oppressed.

Quarterly Audio Podcast or Video with an update from IJM field staff and clients based on your area of investment – keeping you updated on the work you make possible.

Annual Live Call with Gary Haugen, IJM President and CEO. Gary will provide a 'State of the Mission' update for Freedom Partners and answer questions.

The impact of your monthly gift is magnified by the fact that you are investing with thousands of other Freedom Partners.

In one year,

10 Freedom Partners enable IJM to purchase undercover surveillance equipment used by IJM investigators each day to acquire evidence of hidden abuse. Without this evidence, many of the perpetrators IJM has helped convict would be walking free today.

15 Freedom Partners provide the entire annual cost for an IJM national social worker to provide full-time advocacy for rescued victims, ensuring holistic care such as education, counselling and job training.

30 Freedom Partners cover the entire annual cost for an IJM national lawyer to be a full-time advocate for the oppressed – and a change agent in his or her community, protecting the vulnerable through the establishment of rule of law.
