Raise your voice in school, college, university campus and into your career

Getting involved with IJM UK offers you the opportunity to take a stand on issues of injustice. Student movements throughout history have often been the most successful, because they involve the talent and energy that students carry.

One of our goals in the UK is to inform people of the realities of injustice today. So many people do not realise that there is, for example, a modern day slave trade that thrives. We believe that people will stand against it if they know about it. Students are extremely successful at educating their peers through societies, campaigns and events. IJM UK wants to support you in being a voice for the voiceless at your school or university.

IJM UK works alongside students in numerous ways. Some students are interested in learning more about issues of injustice, and then organise fundraising events to join practically in tackling the abuse.

Some students, as part of Christian societies, are interested in exploring God’s heart for justice. Others are inspired by this to develop a career in human rights. In engaging Christian Unions or Fusion Groups, IJM UK has seen a flood of passionate students wanting to know more about how they can respond to injustice. Please contact us if you would like to book an IJM speaker and find out how we can resource you.
